Jim Mouzakiotis joins Federated Payments as Vice President of Business Development

December 3, 2013 (Melville, NY) Federated Payment Systems, a leader in card processing and related merchant services, announced today that Jim Mouzakiotis has joined the company as Vice President of Business Development.

With nearly two decades of experience and expertise in the merchant acquiring industry, Jim excels in interpersonal and “closer” sales skills with superior leadership and management talent.  Possessing highly effective verbal and written communication skills, Jim creates and customizes sales and marketing materials that identify key product and relationship needs as well as effective strategies and solutions that provide his sales team with a competitive edge that produces results.  He is skilled at simple or complex sales cycles as well as maintaining long-term business relationships.

Prior to joining Federated Payment Systems, Jim spent a number of years in executive level positions for leading industry organizations, including a start-up Payair US, Payvision, Ezic, Nationwide Payment Solutions, Newtek Merchant Solutions, (originally a start-up American Merchant Solutions) Online Data Corporation, (spinoff/start-up from Data Transfer Associates; One of the original founders/shareholder) and ATA Information Systems.

Jim is a dedicated supporter of the payment processing industry with many active memberships that has included the ETA, NACHA, MAC, NEAA, SEAA, MWAA and WSAA.  He has been regularly called upon to provide content and opinion for the industry’s leading publications including The Green Sheet, Digital Transactions and ISO & Agent.
